Hostellerie du Mont Tauch is a welcoming and simple small hotel situated in a pretty house of the early 19th century just at the entrance to the village. Some rooms have a fine view of the Pyrenees and the restaurant specialises in local, traditional recipes.There is also private parking.
The dining room has a medieval decor, and a large terrace shaded by a lime tree. The chef, Yves, often produces an enticing buffet, a variety of grilled fish or meat and delicious homemade pastries.The area is noted for its red wines. There are important wine cellars at Tuchan, Paziols and Cucugnan. The Mont Tauch cave is renowned and supplies Sainsburys, Tesco and others! The well deserved reputation of the wines, especially the Fitou, has resulted in the village's prosperity.
