Val Majour Fontvielle
Delightful hotel offering a calm and relaxed stay - set well back from the road, the extensive grounds house a swimming pool and shady terrace. The staff are friendly and helpful, and although the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, your hosts will be happy to recommend one of the many restaurants in the pretty town of Fontvieille. If you have the time, climb up out of the town to the Moulin de Daudet, the windmill is open every day until 7pm and in the evenings is beautifully floodlit.
This hotel only offers breakfast, but the hotel staff are happy to recommend local restaurants for your evening meal. There’s a wonderful choice in Fontvieille; anything from a crêperie to the Michelin-starred, La Regalido. Wine, olive oil, fragrant herbs and fresh market produce are the typical ingredients in menus of this region. Breakfast is served on the terrace where you can enjoy wonderful fresh pastries and fruit juices.
