The reception rooms and lounges are warm and inviting with a very traditional atmosphere gracefully blending with the contemporary furnishings and style of the dining room and bedrooms.

Cuisine

Before taking over at Cordeillan-Bages in 2010, Jean-Luc Rocha trained under two great French chefs, both double-starred, Patrick Henriroux at La Pyramide in Vienne and Thierry Marx at Cordeillan-Bages. The quality of his work earned him the coveted title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2007 and propelled him into the culinary limelight of France's leading establishments. Very much a product of the modern school of French cuisine, he is always keen to push boundaries whilst setting very high standards. His expertise combines technique with tradition and a reliance on rigorous technical skill and a thorough knowledge of his art. The delicious result is a convivial blend of no-nonsense, balanced cuisine to which he succeeds in adding a touch of fantasy and sophistication.
