    Summary

    Take some time to soak up the atmosphere of this ancient town, an important stop on the pilgrim trail. Visit the 15th century cloisters of the Cathedral of Saint-Etienne.

    Summary

    A strenuous route up the cliffs offers wonderful views. Lascabanes is a pretty and welcome stop. In the morning you can join the morning mass where pilgrims can have the symbolic feet washing by the Priest.

    Lauzerte to Moissac day 4

    Summary

    Follow tarred roads and grassy tracks through the hamlet of Espis. Just beyond Gal de Merle choose either the standard route or take the longer more scenic route, which has more inclines. Allow time to visit the city of Moissac an important stop on the Compostela route as it is home to one of the largest Monasteries in Europe.
