We recommend starting on a Saturday in order to visit the famous market in Isle de la Sorgue on Sunday morning. No departures on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

- Summary
Settle in to your lovely boutique hotel, Le Clos Violette which is a 17thCentury Manor house situated in the centre of Isle de la Sorgue. Have a stroll around the town which is known as the ‘island city’ as it is surrounded by the river Sorgue and has several canals running through it.

Avignon/Fountaine de Vaucluse to Gordes day 2
- Summary
A short transfer takes you to Fountaine de Vaucluse where its mysterious spring has attracted Scientists and travellers from around the globe. Your walk climbs up through brush and cedar forests to a stony plateau from where the views extend to the entire Luberon. After walking along the 'plague wall', built to prevent the plague reaching the Palais des Papes, you will reach Gordes, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Day trip from Gordes to Sénaque day 3
- Summary
Your walking tour continues along hidden paths to Sénanque Abbey, a jewel of 12th century architecture, where you could take an optional guided tour (supplement). Your path then climbs out of the Sénancole valley with breathtaking bird’s-eye views of the abbey. Your descent back to Gordes is a scenic walk along ancient stone walls and among dry stone dwellings (bories).

Gordes to Goult/Lacoste and Bonnieux day 4
- Summary
A 10 minute transfer takes you to the authentic stone village of Goult. Walk along the shelf path above Calavon where you reach Lacoste, crowned by the ruins of the castle of the Marquis de Sade. Dipping back into the valley you make your way to Bonnieux, a picture perfect provençal village overlooking the valley and the mountains beyond.

Transfer from Bonnieux to Avignon day 5
- Summary
After breakfast we transfer you to Rustrel where you can choose from different loop walks (1hr, 2h or 3hr) to discover the Colorado Provençal. We include a picnic lunch that you can enjoy along the stunning ocre coloured trails. In the afternoon we transfer you back to Avignon. Settle into your lovely hotel, then explore this wonderful papal city. Enjoy the cobble stoned streets, bustling cafés, covered markets and the famous St Benezet bridge (Pont d'Avignon). Dinner tonight will be in one of the oldest Michelin starred restaurant in the region: Christian Etienne. The next morning departure transfer to Avignon station or return to your car is included.
