You can choose to begin this holiday on any day of the week from March to November. This holiday is not available from 22nd June to 5th September as some paths may be closed due to the risk of fire.
Itinerary & Hotels
Arrive Le Lavandou day 1
Settle into the Hotel Espadon, set close to the beach in Le Lavandou, and explore the town before choosing a restaurant for dinner.
Hotel L'Espadon is located 50 metres from the sea, opposite Le Lavandou beach and the harbour. It is the ideal starting point to go in search of some of the finest cultural and leisure sites of the Var region.

Excellent restaurant and there are many restaurants to choose from in this lively seaside town.
Circular walk from Le Lavandou to Bormes les Mimosas day 2
Climb to the delightful village of Bormes les Mimosas, laden with a rainbow of exotic plants and flowers. Stroll through the cobbled streets before climbing to the chapel of Notre Dame de Constance, perched 300m above the sea, with panoramic views of all three of the Golden Islands.
Circular walk on Porquerolles island day 3
A ferry crossing takes you to the island of Porquerolles, the biggest of the three islands. Walk through the quaint hamlet and along the highly-protected walking paths through pine forests and by strawberry trees. A short climb takes you to a lookout where the entire island is at your feet. Return ferry to Le Lavandou.
Circular walk on Port Cros island day 4
Take the ferry from the port of Le Lavandou to the island of Port Cros, set 8 miles off the coast. The island is France’s smallest national park, and its dense forests of tree heather, strawberry trees and cork oaks make for a walking paradise. Return ferry to Le Lavandou and your hotel.
Circular coastal walk “sentier littoral” day 5
Follow the coastal route that passes pristine beaches and hidden coves along paths laden with lavender. The protected coastline is unspoilt and offers magnificent views of the jagged coast and turquoise waters. Estagnol beach is the perfect lunch stop. Return to Le Lavandou for your last night.
