    Day trip through Melun and Vaux le Vicomte day 2


    Start the day with the unmissable castle of Vaux le Vicomte and its French gardens where you can enjoy a lunch break at the restaurant. Ride through Melun along the banks of the Seine, continue to the 13th and 14th century castle of Blandy, through medieval villages and, along a bike path, return to Fontainebleau. Stretch your legs in the park of the château before going out for dinner.

    Fontainebleau to Huison-Longueville (Etampes) day 3

    Huison-Longueville to Rambouillet day 4


    Start the day on a cycle path following the riverbank, then quiet country roads to Dourdan with its 13th century castle and museum. Admire the architecture from a nearby café before setting out for the forest of Rambouillet, keeping an eye out for the wallabies.
