We’ve selected our hotels not only for their comfort, but also with the lover of good food and wine in mind. France is renowned for its creative use of fresh market produce and our hoteliers pride themselves on serving fare of the highest standard.

Breakfast can be a simple matter of a croissant or two or a buffet with pastries, jams, yoghurt, fruit juice, ham and cheese, with plenty of freshly brewed coffee. For lunchtime, many of our hotels are happy to rustle up a picnic for you. But even better, it’s the ideal opportunity to visit the local markets and stop off at the épicerie and baker to pick up some wonderful fresh provisions for your own al fresco experience. When the produce is this good, the simplest of meals – creamy cheese, plump tomatoes and crunchy bread – are sometimes the best.

But the evenings will really get your taste buds going! And the restaurant settings themselves are often spectacular, be it a vine-covered terrace beside the river, or an elegant dining room in an old manor house, providing the perfect place to relax as you  reflect on the experiences of your day. What's included

Most of our holidays include half board accommodation, meaning your breakfast and evening meal are included in the price of your holiday. Our established relationships with the hotels and restaurants mean we can ensure your dietary requirements are catered to.

If there is no restaurant at the hotel on half board stays, your meal at a local restaurant is included instead.
