Châteaux of the Charente
Local folklore has it that when God finished his work creating the magnificent châteaux in the Loire, he set to work sprinkling this region with many smaller castles. This moderate cycle explores a stunning countryside of vineyards, nodding sunflowers and forests of towering oaks, with these turreted châteaux perched high above winding rivers.
