    Arrival Reims day 1


    A Transfer to your 4-star Grand Hôtel des Templiers in the heart of old Reims, just a short walk from the famous Cathedral. Sample your first taste of Champagne with a guide and tour of Taittinger. Then back to the hotel with time to relax in the pool and spa before dinner in Le Millénaire and a wonderful tasting menu created by chef and owner Laurent Laplaige (1* Michelin).

    Grand Hôtel des Templiers

    Grand Hotel des Templiers has been created within a house that was originally built in the 19th century in neogothic style. The ambiance was restored years later, when the property hosted private offices, and finally in the late 1980`s it became a hotel. Every year renovations are made, especially in its 18 guestrooms, which are all unique in size and decoration. The property stands in a residential area where you will enjoy quietness and the convenient location close to two of the most famous champagne houses in Reims, Louis Roederer and Krug.

    Reims to Sept-Saulx day 2


    Transfer mid morning to the Fort de la Pompelle (scene of much fighting during the Great War). Then head off to your charming Chambre d’hôte, an ancient mill. Dinner will be in the renowned restaurant Le Cheval Blanc.

    A short transfer to the start of the walk through vineyards, open countryside and flower decked villages until you reach the attractive town of Ay, famous as a centre of the production of the regions Champagnes. You will be greeted by your host with a tasting of the owners champagne produce, before heading off for a private tasting of the Cuvées at the smaller family run Henri Giraud before finding a restaurant of your choice.
