    In the middle of the 19th century Dinard became a fashionable seaside resort.     Today there are many small coves to explore as you pass through St-Lunaire and St-Briac-sur-Mer before heading down to Ploubalay and back to Dinard across country. You will have plenty of time to swim or sunbathe at one of the many sandy beaches encountered on the way. Spend your second night in your seafront haven and maybe have a cocktail in the chic rotund “Aquarium Bar” before going out for dinner.

    Dinard to Dinan day 3


    This route takes you inland to the Domaine du Montmarin, which boasts lovely parkland overlooking the River Rance. Cycle along the Voie Verte, an old railway track turned into a cross-country path. It will bring you to the town of Dinan with some time to explore the medieval town.     After cycling up to the 40 m high viaduct of Dinan over the River Rance to Lanvallay, a circuit of country lanes leads towards the Château de la Bourbansais that you can visit.
